Mentor Terms of Service

These terms govern the relationship between you (the "customer", "you") and Moji Mediji d.o.o. ("we", "Mentor") regarding use of the Mentor platform. By registering, signing in, or paying for a subscription, you accept these terms.

1. Service description

Mentor is a SaaS Learning Management System for internal employee training with modules, quizzes, certificates, gamification, live events, and optional AI features. The service is accessed via a browser at app.getmentor.eu.

2. B2B nature

Mentor is intended for legal entities (companies, schools, other organizations). The subscription grants the customer an isolated tenant workspace in which the admin manages employees, modules, and settings. The service is not intended for consumer / private use.

3. Registration and admin responsibility

  • Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your company during registration.
  • The tenant admin is responsible for plan choice, user provisioning, and permissions.
  • Each user must protect their credentials; events under a user account are attributed to that user.
  • Report security incidents or account misuse to security@getmentor.eu without delay.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Upload unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Send malicious code, viruses, or attempt unauthorized access to the system.
  • Automate scraping or pen-testing outside of permitted API usage.
  • Use the service for spam, phishing, or other communication abuse.
  • Resell access to third parties without a written agreement.

5. Customer content

All content (modules, materials, certificates) you upload remains your intellectual property. You are responsible for the legality of that content and for the lawful basis to process employee data.

To operate the service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to technically process this content (display, indexing, transformations for rendering, backups) strictly within your tenant isolation.

6. AI features and disclaimer

  • AI features are optional and can be disabled by the tenant admin in settings.
  • AI is an assistant, not a guarantee: results may contain errors, hallucinations, or incomplete information.
  • The user must verify AI-generated content before publishing or using in training.
  • AI is not intended for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions without human review.
  • Before sending data to external AI providers, we minimize and anonymize where possible. See AI data processing.

7. Billing, trial, subscriptions, VAT

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Mentor does not store card numbers.
  • Prices displayed in the UI are exclusive of VAT (B2B convention). VAT is added on top per Stripe Tax and the customer's country rules.
  • The 14-day trial is free; no card required. After the trial, continued use requires payment.
  • You can cancel at any time in admin settings. Already-paid periods run to their end.
  • On failed payment, Stripe Smart Retries attempts new charges automatically. As a last resort the tenant is moved to SUSPENDED.

8. Availability and maintenance

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is preferred outside working hours. We reserve the right to apply emergency patches in case of security incidents or critical bugs.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, business interruption, or damage caused by using AI results without human review. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount of fees paid in the 12 months preceding the event.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship. After termination we export data on request within 30 days and then delete it, except where retention is required by law. We reserve the right to terminate immediately in case of material breach or service abuse.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

The relationship is governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia, unless mandatory rules require otherwise. We seek amicable resolution; otherwise the competent court in Ljubljana has jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We notify paying customers of material changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If you disagree with the new terms, you may terminate your subscription within that window.
